now that the pilot for steven universe is out, i can finally post this!

a few months back i took a storyboard test for the show! unfortunately i didn’t get the gig (i was still in school!), but i got a sneak peak of these lovely characters and i did these warm up sketches to try my hand at their designs! i just love how all of them are so full of personality! they’re really gorgeous designs and i can’t wait to see more of them!

lucien is allout offensive mystical samurai swan who fights usin tailfeathers from bird dragons and hes chargin up some kind of focus attack that takes two turns because all the good attacks take two turns. Literally everyone knows that.

I wanted a Terra doll/figure/something but I couldn’t find any, so I made one. I used one of Tabatha Naomi’s books for help. I highly recommend them! They’re not in english but all of the instructions are illustrated and easy to understand.
